Job Summary

We are recruiting for one of our clients, an experienced IT Application Lead responsible for managing and optimizing business applications and IT projects across the country. The role will drive digital transformation initiatives, ensure system stability, and support business operations through efficient and secure application management.

Purpose

Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of business-critical applications, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and high system availability.

Manage IT applications lifecycle, ensure efficient project delivery, support users, and collaborate with regional/global IT teams.

  • Manage ERP and business applications (SAP, barcode, biometric systems)
  • Ensure system performance and reliability

  • Manage configurations, upgrades, and integrations
  • Lead IT projects from design to deployment
  • Ensure timely delivery within scope and budget
  • Implement new technologies
  • Support digital transformation initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies
  • Conduct system audits
  • Manage risks and vulnerabilities
  • Maintain backup and recovery processes
  • Monitor network and system security
  • Handle security incidents

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Master's degree in IT or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT roles
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP Mandatory)
  • Experience in Manufacturing/ FMCG / multinational environment
  • Bilingual English and French (mandatory)
  • Strong IT infrastructure and cybersecurity knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proven ability to respect deadlines and deliver high-quality work on time.
  • Demonstrated availability and responsiveness to business needs.
  • Strong sense of rigor in applying tax rules and maintaining documentation and attention to detail.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
  • Strong organizational skills
