Summary

AMSCO is supporting a leading banking group with a strong footprint across African markets, in the recruitment of a Regional Head - Securities. This is a director level position requiring at least 10 years of relevant experience for a self-driven professional with solid work ethics.

The position is based in Cameroon with responsibility across the 6 CEMAC countries.

Experience & Qualifications required

- Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics, accounting, or related field, Relevant professional qualifications will be an advantage

- Fluent written & spoken (French and English);

- Extensive experience in a similar role, 10+ years applicable experience in investment / portfolio management, brokerage, finance or equivalent in managing and administering investment portfolios with a high level of customer service.

- Advanced knowledge of capital markets, economics, and basic investments

- Advanced Securities analysis and research skills

- Good knowledge of third-party models (Salomon, Bloomberg, Lipper).

- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

- Self-starter and able to operate autonomously.

- IT skills – Relevant Software and PC skills

- Familiar with Stock Exchange operations
